Diving

Diving is another great way to experience the beautiful waters of Avoca Beach and the Central Coast. There are several dive operators operating locally that are able to cater to both experienced and inexperienced divers. Options include exploring the wreckage of the HMAS Adelaide, which lies just over a kilometre off of Avoca Beach.

Surfing

Avoca Beach is a great spot for surfing, offering a consistently good series of breaks along the beach. There are other great local options available - ask at reception for directions to Macmaster's and Copocabana just around the corner if you're looking for a change or try heading over to Terrigal if the surf is up and the family might prefer a more sheltered beach.
